After graduating from university, Yuyang moved to Japan.
Following positions at Rakuten, Inc. and GREE, Inc., he joined SmartNews, Inc. as an early member in early 2016.
After the launch of its advertising platform, he served as Head of the News Algorithms and Delivery Team and contributed to the company's growth into a unicorn through technical leadership.
He joined JAPAN AI, Inc. as CTO in 2024.
He was appointed Executive Officer and CTO of JAPAN AI, Inc. in April 2025 and Executive Officer of Geniee, Inc. in September of the same year.
He currently serves as CTO of JAPAN AI, Inc. and Executive Officer of Geniee, Inc.
